The Zonta Club of Quinebaug Valley is now accepting applications for the Young Women in Public Affairs award which is awarded to a local high school student who is pre-university or pre-college (ages 16-19) with: Active commitment to volunteerism; experience in local or student government; volunteer leadership achievements; knowledge of Zonta International and its programs; advocating in Zonta International’s mission of advancing the status of women worldwide.

Along with the application a verification of current enrollment by a school official and two confidential recommendations by adults not related to the applicant are needed.
