Derby
The Pomfret Cub Scout Pack 26 recently gathered for its annual Pinewood Derby. Cub Scouts, with the help of parents, build their own car from a block of wood. The cars are powered by gravity, and race down a wooden track. Above are the Cub Scouts. At left, the winners - left to right: Kale Hart, third; Zachary Radcliffe, first; and Owen Donovan, second.
