Happy Birthday
Henrietta (Seney) Lachappelle, front row, center, Feb. 10, celebrated her 105th birthday with family and friends at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. She was a member of the Tourtellotte Class of 1923 and was married to George "Pat" Lachappelle. Together they owned and operated the employee cafeteria at Cluett-Peobody and later Pat's News in N. Grosvenordale. She received a citation from FDR for her help with the rationing program during WWII. They had three children, Natalie Schunick, A. Aileen Witkowski and Lorraine Blanchard.
