DAYVILLE — Westview Health Care Center recently hosted its next in a series of informative health education programs for members of the community titled, “The Joint Academy Experience,” presented by the board certified, fellowship trained surgeons and health care professionals from The Center For Bone and Joint Care.
The orthopedic team from the center spoke about their partnership with Day Kimball Hospital in creating The Joint Academy of Northeast Connecticut, a program designed to inform and educate patients about the many steps to achieving successful orthopedic surgeries. They spoke about total joint replacement, orthopedic surgery, fracture care and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
