Relay raises
$345,000 so far
WOODSTOCK --- The 15th annual Relay For Life of Northeastern Connecticut, May 21-22 has raised more than $345,000 so far, according to Stephanie Balesano, communications associate at the American Cancer Society.
She said more than 100 teams took part and there were nearly 1500 participants. Of those participants, 300 were survivors.
More than 2,000 luminaria were lit at dusk.
