'welcome spring'
DAYVILLE — Westview Health Care Center residents, patients and employees recently celebrated the long-awaited arrival of good weather with a “Spring Fling” that consisted of food and featured a beautiful springtime themed sand sculpture, hand carved by the creative artists of Sandtasia.
“It was a long winter,” said resident Lucille Miller. “The weatherman said that Connecticut received record-breaking seasonal snowfalls this year and I couldn’t be more grateful to welcome spring in such a joyful way.”
To celebrate, Westview hired the creative team of Sandtasia Sand Sculptures to construct an appealing structure that completely depicts a “fun in the sun” theme, to shed the winter blues. This structure will last throughout the summer and fall.
