ASHFORD --- Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Camp Challenge Ride, the only ride that starts and finishes at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, founded by Paul Newman. The ride is Sept. 10 and offers 15-mile, 30-mile and Metric Century (100K, 62 Mile) route options as well as a Kid’s Ride, offered for the first time this year, for ages 4 and up.
This premier cycling tour of Connecticut’s Quiet Corner concludes with a finish festival of music, food and entertainment and is a rare opportunity for cyclists and their guests to visit the Camp and participate in Camp activities and tours. Participants register for the event online at www.teamholeinthewall.org/RideInspired.
Riders 16 years of age and up commit to raising a minimum of $250 and riders under 16 commit to a minimum of $100 with 100% of the proceeds benefiting The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Anyone who raises $500 or more will receive a custom Camp Challenge Ride cycling jersey.
