Fun Run
THOMPSON --- The free 2011 Fun Run summer series is held at 6:05 p.m. each Wednesday through Sept. 21 at the W. Thompson Dam,. Sign in near the yellow gate at the Ravenelle Road parking lot. For people ages 7 to 88 who will jog, run or walk (1.44-mile and 3.1-mile options).

WOODSTOCK --- The Quasset School House, just before the Woodstock Elementary School, will host a free open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays in July and August. Built in 1854 and moved in 1954.
