Kentucky State Police Senior Trooper Timothy A. Vinal, son of Wayne and Effie Vinal of Eastford, was named Trooper of the Year for the Kentucky State Police post in Dry Ridge. An 11-year Kentucky State Police veteran, Vinal is a 1990 graduate of Woodstock Academy in Connecticut and a 1999 graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio.
