Circle of Fun set
PUTNAM — St. Mary of the Visitation parish’s “Circle of Fun” will be celebrating its 40th year of family fun on Sept. 16, 17 and 18.
Volunteers are still being sought for several booths throughout the weekend and anyone wishing to help should call Paul Desautels at 928-5945.
Although St. Mary School closed last year, the tradition of celebrating with the community, both the parish community and the people of Putnam, will continue. Under the leadership of Jon and Chrissy Daviau and John and Pam Foucault, many booth chairpersons from last year have returned.  There will again be rides and entertainment. The chicken-barbeque will be held on Sept.  18, the flea market will be held all three days with an early bird special Sept. 15.  Booths include the famous food booth, dough boys, soda, sealed tickets, the Kiddie Tent, Bingo and beer booth. Added this year is a dunking booth.
