Donation
The Putnam Rotary Club recently donated $500 to the Roots of Development. Marion Bissonnette, left, accepts the check from Putnam Rotary Club President Cynthia Dunne. The funds will be used for “Sand Supplier” to help the community of Gran Sous, Haiti, to start a block-making business. The business will allow the people of Gran Sous to become more independent … it will also help them rebuild their community and supply blocks for neighboring communities as well. Linda Lemmon photo.
