PUTNAM — Deborah Ann Cyr, payroll and accounts payable manager, is Day Kimball’s August Employee of the Month.
Cyr began her career at Day Kimball in 1989 as secretary for the CFO as well as accounts payable support. Eighteen years ago she transitioned into the payroll department and became manager of both payroll and accounts payable in 2009. In her role, she is responsible for the entire payroll function for Day Kimball Healthcare and Physician Services of Northeast Connecticut. She also manages the accounts payable function for both organizations and supervises two full-time employees.
She has an associates degree as an accounting major from Becker Junior College and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in healthcare administration at Charter Oak State College.
Cyr was born at Day Kimball Hospital and is a lifelong resident of Thompson, where she lives with her husband Rick and youngest son Jason. Her oldest son Craig lives in Worcester.
