WOODSTOCK --- While waiting for the advance sales numbers, the general manager of the 151st annual Woodstock Fair estimates that about 160,000 people attended this year's fair. Last year, said General Manager Don Farias, about 173,000 attended.
The Barnyard Babies Birthing Center, expanded from last year, saw seven calves born. Farias said, "The new Barnyard Babies tent was one of our most popular attractions this year. All the main stage concerts were very well attended and we are still receiving rave reviews from attendees on our Facebook page. The South Stage Family Fun Center's special contests were very popular this year. As usual the Go Kart track and Pulling area had full bleachers most of the weekend."
He added that "besides the electrical and wet grass issues caused by the hurricane, it was the Fair as usual."
