PUTNAM — The Putnam Police Department and state Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control recently conducted compliance checks at liquor stores and restaurants and bars in Putnam Three restaurants/bars sold alcohol to an underaged minor and failed: Chickering Café, Palmieri’s Pizza, and Bella’s Bistro and Martini Bar.
These locations passed: Pyzzz, Courthouse Bar & Grille, 85 Main, Someplace Special, Charlie Bravos, Pangaea Wine Bar and Jade Garden of Putnam.
Also checked were package stores and grocery stores in Putnam that sell alcohol. Failing were: Sunny Discount Liquors and Uncle Dan’s Wine, Beer & Booze.
Those which passed include: Godley Spirits, The Wine Cellar, Putnam Spirits Inc., Putnam Supermarket and Price Chopper.
