POMFRET --- The town will hold a bulky waste collection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 21 and 22 at the Murdock Property on Rt. 101. For Pomfret residents only. Waste must originate in Pomfret.
Thriller Play
PUTNAM --- The Theatre of Northeastern Connecticut at the Bradley Playhouse will present "Wait Until Dark" at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 and 22 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 23 at the playhouse. Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for seniors/students. 928-7887.

Harvest Fair

Pancake Breakfast
POMFRET --- A Pancake Breakfast will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Pomfret Senior Center $7.
The breakfast is being held as a thank you to a local Girl Scout for her work over the summer at the Pomfret Food Pantry as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award.
Pumpkin Fest
PUTNAM --- The Putnam Business Association will host its annual Great Pumpkin Fest in and around downtown Putnam. Scarecrow contest included.
History Program
