The second in a developing series designed to bring musical entertainment to the Bradley’s stage, the toe tapping, free spirited music of this bluegrass band will have you wondering why you haven’t taken the time to enjoy their music before.
Well known in bluegrass circles on the East coast, the Blackstone Valley Bluegrass Band members hail from central Massachusetts and northeastern Connecticut. Bob Dick, Dave Dick, Ken Taylor and Dan Nowlan have played together for many years. Accomplished musicians, performers and teachers, the band members play guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, dobro as well as sing lead and harmony.
Folk art from local artists as well as several pieces of antique art from area dealers will be on display in the theatre lobby. So come and experience an affordable evening of traditional Americana in the historic Bradley Playhouse. Enjoy a cold beer or wine selection from J.D. Cooper’s “Bradley Bar” or sip a cup of mulled cider to warm your soul.
