Academy to
present musical
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Academy’s performing arts department will present “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 and 5 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 6. $10. 928-6575.
More than 40 students are taking part. It is directed by Amy Ranta, director of Woodstock Academy’s Performing Arts program, and Lauren Churchill, director of Instrumental Performance.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a hilarious tale of overachievers’ angst chronicling the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime.
