PUTNAM — The Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) recently announced that for a second consecutive year the Putnam Board of Education has earned The CABE Leadership Award.
In order to be selected for the award the Board of Education must meet at least 15 criteria in five different categories. These categories include: Board Leadership/Student Achievement, Board Member Professional Development, Policy, Community Relations and Related Organizational Leadership.
Last year Putnam was only one of 20 Board of Educations in the state to receive this award. The award will be presented on Nov. 18 during the annual CABE/CAPSS convention.
