WOODSTOCK — Woodstock Building Associates, LLC, a remodeling company based in Woodstock, received a HOBI Award for Outstanding Remodeling Project from $100,000 to $250,000 for a recently completed kitchen/family room/dining room remodeling project in Dayville.
The HOBI Awards, awarded by Home Builders Association of Connecticut, is the state’s most prestigious housing industry program, recognizing excellence in new construction, land development, remodeling, sales and marketing, and home financing. Winners are selected by a panel of HOBI judges with experience in various aspects of home building.
Doug Porter, principal of Woodstock Building Associates, LLC, said, “We are pleased to receive this recognition of our work but more importantly our clients are thrilled with their new kitchen, family room and dining room. Their home now meets the needs of their growing family.”
This is the third HOBI award won by WBA. In 1999, they received an award for the Best Residential Remodeling under $150,000 for a project on Bungee Lake in Woodstock. In 2009, they received an award for the Best Remodeled Home under $350,000 for project on Witches Woods Lake in Woodstock.
