Art Guild
POMFRET --- The Northeastern CT Art Guild will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the new Audubon facility on Day Road. After the business meeting, Alicia Underhill, an equine artist who works in oils, will be our guest demonstrator for this meeting. All welcome.
Genealogy Seminar
TOLLAND --- A “Genealogy on Internet” free seminar will be offered at 7 p.m. in the library of the Old County Courthouse on Tolland Green.

Polish Supper
PUTNAM --- The Congregational Church of Putnam on Main Street will present a Polish Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. $10 for adults; $5 for kids 12 and younger. Takeout available. 928-4405.
Earth Day
THOMPSON --- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at West Thompson Lake will hold its 20th annual Earth Day Celebration. Registration at 8 a.m. at the Overlook Picnic Shelter off W. Thompson Road. Cleanup starts at 9 a.m. followed by pizza lunch. Bring work gloves. 923-2982.

Open House
POMFRET --- The Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp Open House will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. April 21 and 22 at 326 Taft Pond Road. From 1:30 to 2 p.m. April 21 there will be an informational Parent Panel.
Walk-a-Thon
PUTNAM --- The American Legion 4th District Family is hosting a 3-mile walk to benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center at the St. Marie-Greenhalgh complex on Wicker Street. Registration is from 9 to 10 a.m. Make checks payable to: Kids Walk or Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

PUTNAM --- The Putnam Rotary Club's annual Noe Poulin Youth Fishing Derby will run from noon to 3 p.m. at Rotary Park. Registration is from 11 a.m. Prizes, food, more.

Relay Fund-raiser
PUTNAM --- Relay For Life of Northeastern CT is holding a fund-raiser in conjunction with Wendy’s of Putnam. Located on Rt. 44, they are donating 15 percent of food purchased between 5 and 8 p.m.
Community Meal
THOMPSON --- The Thompson Congregational Church will hold a "Welcome To Our Table-Free Community Meal" from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the church on Thompson Hill. All welcome.

PUTNAM --- The Woman’s Board of Day Kimball Hospital will present "Let’s Face the Music & Dance,” a sentimental journey with buffet dinner and dancing, from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at Wright’s Mill Farm in Canterbury. Rabies Clinic
DANIELSON --- Pet Pals Northeast, a local animal rescue organization, will hold a low-cost rabies clinic from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Quinebaug Valley Veterinary Hospital on Rt. 12. $12 cash per animal.
