WOODSTOCK --- The dedication of the 'Z Rock & Rain Garden' will be at 6:30 p.m. June 8 at Palmer Memorial Hall/Palmer Arboretum. Reception follows. The garden is a tribute to the late Doug Zimmerman. Feel free to bring a special rock from your home or travels to add to the garden. 963-0288.

Concert Fund-raiser
PUTNAM --- The sixth annual Particle Accelerator concert will be held from noon to 11 p.m. at Rotary Park. All genres of music. Free. All welcome. Open House
WOODSTOCK --- As part of Connecticut Open House Day, Fairvue Farms on Rt. 171 will hold an open house and farm tour from noon to 3 p.m. Guided tractor trailer tours of the barns and see the cows being milked. Ice cream, milk and cookies provided by The Farmers Cow. Free.

THOMPSON --- The Bible Fellowship Church on Rt. 131 is offering another “Car Care Day” for single ladies by appointment.
