Lady Mustangs are rolling
PUTNAM SCIENCE 61
 LINCOLN PREP (CANADA) 46 
The PSA Prep Lady Mustangs competed in Washington, DC at the “She Got Game Classic” on Saturday vs Lincoln Prep (Canada). Athena Thompson led the Lady Mustangs (9-3) to a 61-46 win by scoring 26 points and adding 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Helin Yoztyurk added 13 points and 6 assists and Kate Lipatova chipped in 8 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals in the win.

ORANGEVILLE PREP 27
Athena Thompson once again led the Putnam Science Lady Mustangs to a 45-27 win over Orangeville Prep (Canada) on Sunday afternoon.  Thompson had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 steals and 3 assists in the win. Helin Yoztyurk added 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and Kate Lipatova had 10 points, 14 rebounds and 2 blocks to help PSA to improve to 10-3 on the season.

Varsity girls’ defeat Cheshire, 46-30
Putnam Science Academy’s Varsity Girls’ Basketball team opened their weekend at the Rose Classic with a dominant 46-30 victory over Cheshire. The Mustangs showcased tenacious defense and balanced scoring, led by Ayca, who filled the stat sheet with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and an impressive 7 steals. Adut was a force in the paint, finishing with a double-double of 11 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 steals. Nina contributed on both ends of the court, adding 7 points and 7 steals to secure the win.
PSA rolls by Rothesay Netherwood, 49-38
The Mustangs earned their second win of the weekend with a 49-38 victory over Rothesay Netherwood, propelled by a strong performance from Alti, who led all scorers with 19 points and added a block. Adut continued her stellar play, posting another double-double with 12 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 steals. Defne contributed with 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists, helping PSA control the tempo and dominate on the boards.
PSA falls to Newman, 51-24
In their final game of the weekend, the Mustangs came up short, falling 51-24 to Newman. Despite the loss, Lahelie led the way for PSA with 7 points and 4 steals, showing her ability to disrupt the opposition’s offense. Adut added 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 block, but the Mustangs were unable to overcome Newman’s strong defensive presence.

SCITUATE HIGH 38
SCITUATE, RI-  Lahelie Leyde scored 17 points and added 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals to lead the Varsity Lady Mustangs to a huge road win over Scituate High 41-38 on Wednesday night. Adut Tour added 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 steals and Antonia De Giorgis chipped in 4 points and 2 blocks.
