Takes second in state contest
PUTNAM — The Albert Breault VFW Post 1523 announced that Rilynne-Mae Sargent took second place at the state level of the VFW Patriots Pen Essay Contest.
She won at the Post level and then went on to win District 4. She recently took second place at the state level. Post officials said: “Rilynne-Mae, your dedication, hard work, and passion for patriotism have truly shone through. These types of events not only encourage a deep love for our country but also inspire young minds to strive for excellence and achieve great things in life. Your journey is a testament to what can be accomplished with determination and a patriotic spirit.”
