#2 PSA 98 – Brewster Academy 72
PUTNAM — #2 Putnam Science won big at home on Wednesday night over seven-time National Champion Brewster Academy (NH) 98-72. Ben Ahmed led the Mustangs with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Jaeden Roberts had 12 points and 3 assists. Tony Williams (3 steals), Jamell Hatchett (5 steals & 3 assists) and Brayson Green (5 rebounds & 4 steals) all scored 11 points apiece in the win. Luka Lokhmanchuk chipped in 10 points as PSA improved to 22-2 on the season.
#2 PSA 108 – South Kent 66
PUTNAM — #2 ranked Putnam Science won big Saturday evening over #19-ranked South Kent 108-66. Warren Keel didn’t miss a shot and finished with 23 points, 7 assists and 3 rebounds and Jaeden Roberts had 19 points and 2 steals in the win. Tony Williams added 15 points, 5 assists and 3 steals and Ben Ahmed had 14 points and 11 rebounds and 2 steals for PSA. Adama Tambedou chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks as the Mustangs improve to 23-2 on the season.
PSA Elite has solid week
PSA Elite 108 – Woodstock 60
WOODSTOCK — Putnam Science Elite boys won Tuesday afternoon over Woodstock Select 108-60 on the road. Maksym Shepel led the Mustangs with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Javelle Epps added 16 points and 4 rebounds. Lazarus Mason chipped in with 14 points and 2 assists and Rejus Drevinskas had 12 points and 3 rebounds for PSA. The PSA Elite Boys improves to 18-2 on the season.
PSA Elite 63 – Cats Academy 66
BOSTON — PSA Elite Boys went on the road Thursday afternoon to take on Cats Academy and fell short 66-63. Dominick LaDuca led the Mustangs with 18 points and 4 assists and Javelle Epps had 14 points and 4 rebounds. Lazarus Mason had a double double with 10 points and 10 assists and David Djan added 4 points and 8 rebounds for PSA. Maksym Shepel chipped in 3 points and 9 rebounds as the Mustangs fell to 18-3 on the season.
PSA Elite 96 – South Kent 73
PUTNAM — The Elite Boys won again at home over South Kent 96-73 to improve to 19-3 on the season. Dominick LaDuca had another big game, scoring 17 points and adding 5 assists in the win. Lazarus Mason had 14 points and 8 assists for Putnam Science. Jude Gonzalez (2 assists) and Javelle Epps (6 rebounds) each scored 13 points apiece.

PSA Varsity 74 – Rectory 70
POMFRET — The Varsity Boys hit some big free throws down the stretch to win on the road over the Rectory School 74–70 in overtime to improve to 8-4 on the season. Stanislaw Nowakowski led the Mustangs with 20 points and 11 rebounds and KJ Stycr had 18 points, 5 assists and 2 steals. Jason Wang added 12 points and 5 rebounds and TJ Espinosa had 11 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Javier De Castro chipped in 10 points and 2 steals for PSA.
Varsity Boys 68 – Cats Academy 74
PUTNAM — Stanislaw Nowakowski had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead PSA but it wasn’t enough as they lost at home 74-68 to Cats Academy. Javier De Castro had 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists for the Varsity Boys. TJ Espinosa (8 rebounds & 2 assists) and KJ Stycr (5 rebounds & 5 steals) each scored 12 points apiece as the PSA fell to 8-5 on the season.
PSA Varsity Boys 54 – Premier Prep 74
PUTNAM — Varsity Boys lost to Premier Prep (Mass.) Thursday night at home 74-54. TJ Espinosa led the Mustangs with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists as PSA fell to 8-6 on the season. Drake Alvarez (2 assists) and Ryan Sun (3 rebounds) each scored 9 points in the loss. Jacob Wang chipped in 8 points, 4 rebounds and a block.
PSA Varsity Boys 64 – MacDuffie 103
PUTNAM — Varsity Boys battled a strong MacDuffie team Saturday afternoon but lost 103-64. The Mustangs led almost the entire first half but ran out of gas and fell to 8-7 on the season. Stanislaw Nowakowski led the Mustangs with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks and TJ Espinosa added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. KJ Stycr added 8 points and 2 steals for the Varsity Boys.
