MEDFORD, Mass. — Three local students were named to the Tufts University fall dean’s list: Zachary White, Class of 2026, of Pomfret Center; Ben Gordon, Class of 2026, of Woodstock; and Shawn Mentzer, Class of 2027, of Pomfret Center.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Two local students were elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
Elected were: Alexia Bourbeau of Brooklyn at Sacred Heart University and Carrie Fleetwood of Putnam at University of Massachusetts.
