 Barbara May Poulin, 78
Barbara (Clark) Poulin, 78, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, surrounded by loving family. Born in Putnam, on May 9, 1946, she was the daughter of Leroy Clark and Cecilia Clark. 
Barbara was a beloved and compassionate mother, memere, sister, aunt, and friend who left a positive impact on everyone she met. She was a kind soul who was always quick to help others in need. 
For more than 40 years Barbara worked as the Day Kimball Hospital switchboard operator and became the voice of Day Kimball Hospital, cherishing her role in that position. Her caring nature will be remembered and loved forever. 
Cardinals, Elvis Presley, reading, and flowers always held a special place in Barbara’s heart. She loved warm weather and liked to set up her chair outside with a book to enjoy the comfort of the sun. During the warmer months she also liked to garden. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends, always making fond memories by playing her board and card games with everyone.
Barbara leaves her sister, Carol (Clark) Cesario; her brothers, Michael Clark and Howard Clark; her daughter, Sandra (Poulin) Mayo; her sons, Peter Jr. Poulin and Todd Poulin; her granddaughters, Sabrina (Mayo) Jarvis, Emma Poulin, and Ashley Jordan; her grandsons, Brandon Mayo, Raymond Jordan, and Timothy Poulin; her great-grandson, Aiden Kilmer; and her great-granddaughters, Davina Jarvis and Violet Jarvis.
There will be a Mass at 4 p.m. May 24 at St. Mary’s Church in Putnam, to commemorate Barbara. All family and friends are also invited to honor Barbara with a Celebration of Life that will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 1 at the Elks Lodge in Putnam. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the family in Barbara’s memory to help in covering burial expenses.
