John G. Heath, U.S. Army veteran
GROSVENORDALE — John G. Heath, loving father, son, brother, grandfather and uncle, 51, of Riverside Drive died May 12, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in 1973 in Putnam, he was the son of Betty (Warren) Heath and the late Glen Heath.
John was a graduate of the Killingly High School class of 1993 and was a proud United States Army veteran.
Mr. Heath was a member of the Community Fire House in North Grosvenordale, American Legion Post 67 where he was the past commander, APA Pool League, Wednesday night pitch league, and cornhole player at the American Legion.
He enjoyed fishing and was an incredible cook volunteering his time at many local fund-raising events.
He leaves his mother, Betty Heath of Grosvenordale; his children, Miranda Heath and her wife Rebecca of Ellington, Timothy B. Heath (Kaylani) of Sheboygan, Wisc., and Marissa Perrier (Sean) of Stafford Springs; his three grandchildren, Liam and Cynthia Wight of Ellington and Magnolia Heath of Sheboygan; and his siblings, Frank G. Heath of Grosvenordale, Jesse Heath (Tammy) of E. Killingly, Timothy Heath(Cherie) of N. Grosvenordale, and Tina Tetreault (James) of Woodstock; nieces, nephews, and his grand dog Ryker.
The graveside service was May 17 at West Thompson Cemetery.
