Multiple charges after accident
PUTNAM — A Danielson man was had five charges lodged against him after an accident May 17 on Grove Street.
The Putnam Police Department said the Putnam Emergency Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle accident on Grove Street  in the area of Tatem Street.
Police found Vincent Haggett, 21, of Danielson with a significant laceration on his arm sustained in an unrelated incident in Danielson. He was taken to Day Kimball Hospital.
Police determined Haggett was driving a 2004 Volvo V70 traveling westbound on Grove  when the vehicle struck the curb causing disabling damage to the vehicle.  
The vehicle was towed and Haggett was issued an infraction for: failure to maintain lane, operating a motor vehicle without a license, misuse of registration plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating without insurance.
