WBA builds special gazebo
FRANKLIN, Mass. — The Children’s Museum of Franklin recently celebrated another step toward opening the new interactive education and imagination center with the installation of a special gazebo built by Woodstock Building Associates, based in Franklin and Woodstock.
Opening to the public this summer, the museum will offer exhibit space for children 0–10 years old, programming for elementary and middle school students, volunteer and leadership opportunities for high school students, and internships for college students.  “An integral piece of the museum’s Imaginative Play Downtown, the gazebo offers a gross motor opportunity for our younger visitors,” said Franklin mom and co-founder of the museum, Erin Gallagher.
Steven Keene, principal and team leader at Woodstock Building Associates, said: “We’re proud to contribute to such an interactive and inspiring project for the children of Franklin. Our design and carpentry team truly enjoyed designing, fabricating, and assembling the gazebo. It’s been a joy to see it become part of the museum’s vision.” Keene said “WBA is honored to support their mission of creating a welcoming, imaginative space where children can learn, play, and grow.”
