Art Exhibit
THOMPSON --- The Friends of the Thompson Public Library will present “Dotting My Days in Colorful Ways” by Alison Ciarlante this month. A reception will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 10. “Symbols of Spring, Hope and Heritage” by Cathy Shires will be in the display case.

PUTNAM --- The Putnam Public Library is hosting its third annual Tiny Art Show and is looking for artists to take part. The show involves free form art by teens, adults and seniors. PUTNAM --- The Bradley Playhouse will present “Rumors” for two weekends starting Jan. 30. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6, 7 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 8. Fire & Ice
PUTNAM --- The 15th annual Fire & Ice event will be held from noon to 8 p.m. around downtown Putnam. Ice sculptures, food, drinks, entertainment and much more, all centered around fire and ice themes. POMFRET --- The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Pomfret on Day Road will present a program on owls at 1 p.m. at the center.
