Clippers win 4th straight game
The Putnam High Clippers won its 8th game of the season and 4th in a row to clinch a spot in the Div. V State tournament. The Clippers knocked off Hale Ray 67-59. Freshman TJ Espinosa led the Clippers with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and sophomore Camden Kell had 17 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assist and 4 blocks in the win. Sam Jackel had a great night scoring a season high 14 points and adding 4 blocks. Senior Nick Devlin chipped in 9 points and added 6 rebounds as Putnam improves to 8-5.
