Bulky Waste changes
PUTNAM — Bulky Waste days are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the third Saturday of every month at the Pomfret/Putnam Transfer Station on Nora Lane, Pomfret. During inclement weather, cancelled events will appear on townofputnam.us and on Town of Putnam on Facebook. As of March 1 the Highway garage on Fox Road will no longer accept bulky waste of any kind. This includes tires and mattresses. All bulky waste will now be received at the Pomfret/Putnam transfer station.
