EAST PUTNAM — Agave Mexican Kitchen is slated to open later this year next to the Elle Nail Salon in the shopping plaza on Rt. 44. In addition to Mexican cuisine, it will feature a full bar, according to The Connecticut Scoop. It will be owned by the Leon Restaurant Group. The restaurant group is owned by brothers Roberto and Ernesto Leon. They also have Condesa locations in Watertown, Mass., Sturbridge W. Warwick, R.I., and Smithfield and an Agave Social location in Narragansett.
