Putnam Rotary Fishing Derby is May 9
PUTNAM — Get ready to cast, catch, and celebrate a Putnam tradition that has been reeling in smiles for more than 50 years. Families, kids, and community members are invited to the annual Noe Poulin Youth Fishing Derby at Rotary Park.
The derby is free and open to youth in multiple age groups, from beginners to more experienced young anglers. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with fishing from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Then prizes will be awarded. Awards will be given in several fun categories thanks to Win Waste Innovations, including biggest catch, smallest catch, most unique catch and most fish caught. The sponsor is WIN Waste Innovations.
