Third bomb scare – non credible again
PUTNAM — April 20 a Putnam High School student’s email account was compromised and a bomb threat was sent out in a foreign language again, according to Putnam Police Chief Christopher Ferace.
An investigation showed the threat was not credible and no Putnam student was involved, and the threat did not originate locally.
This incident is similar to the online threats that were received last month in Putnam and around the region. The investigation continues.
The Putnam Police maintained a police presence in the public schools areas throughout the day as a precautionary measure.
