PUTNAM — Centreville Bank is underway with a complete renovation of its Putnam branch. Bank officials said they anticipate the work will be done in November. In the meantime, they stress that customer service “remains uninterrupted” throughout the project.
Officials said: “While construction is underway, banking services are continuing from a temporary modular ‘BankinaBox’ located on the same property. Customers still have access to the same core banking services, supported by the same local team. ATM access remains available.”
Renovations include: “We’re updating the layout, technology, and security to better support how our customers and employees use the space today. Outside, the building will be refreshed to improve accessibility and functionality. The goal isn’t to change who we are in Putnam, it’s to make sure the space works better for the long term.”
“By improving accessibility, efficiency, and the customer experience, we’re investing in both the Putnam community and our employees to ensure we continue serving customers in meaningful, modern ways well into the future.”
Officials said rather than make small fixes over time, the renovation allows the bank to address the building as a whole and bring it up to “current standards for accessibility, security, and customer experience.”
“One important point is continuity. We’re not leaving Putnam during construction. Customers will continue to bank locally, see familiar faces, and receive the same level of service throughout the renovation. We understand construction can be disruptive, and we appreciate the community’s patience as we work through the process.”
“We’re committed to Putnam, and that commitment doesn’t pause during construction.”
