WATERFORD — Charter Oak Federal Credit Union has named Kim M. Mecteau as its new VP of Business Lending.
“Kim is an experienced commercial banker who will broaden our lending reach,” said Brian A. Orenstein, Charter Oak’s CEO. “Her decades of experience are a great asset for Charter Oak as we continue to expand our commercial lending operations.”
She has more than two decades of banking experience in the retail and commercial banking areas serving businesses throughout eastern Connecticut. Charter Oak now has three vice presidents of lending serving the banking needs of business, Mecteau, Jane Moriarty and Robert Beeckman. Mecteau is a resident of Coventry and a graduate of both Quinnipiac University and the University of New Haven.
DAYVILLE — Westview Health Care Center’s nomination committee selected Dietary Aide Erika Groleau of Dietary Services as Employee of The Month for March. She joined the facility in 2007.
Groleau provides assistance with all dietary functions throughout the facility and performs a duel role in the Dietary Department. Her supportive role assures that meals and food products are safe, healthy and meet dietary requirements specified by the doctors and licensed nutritionist for the residents and patients of Westview. She is also the Café Coordinator at Westview’s Main Street Café where she shares the charge of planning and promoting the café program; and providing food service for fellow employees.
Groleau graduated from Killingly High School in 2008 and went on to receive her associate’s degree in Graphic Design Fine Arts Option at Quinebaug Valley Community College in 2014.
Erika was recently engaged to Jordan Kerttula the love of her life of 8 years and looks forward to being married in April 2016.
