2 arrested for drugs
PUTNAM — Two Putnam residents were arrested on drug charges Jan. 30
The Troop D Quality of Life Task Force, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force – East Office, the Putnam Police Department and state troopers assigned to the Troop D Danielson barracks executed a narcotics-related search and seizure warrant. Arrested was Mario Knott, 26, of 50 May St., Apt. B, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and operating a drug factory.
Randy Jean Louis, 25, of the same address was charged with possession of narcotics and narcotics outside of original container.
Investigators seized prescription narcotic pills that were not in their original container, marijuana pre-packaged for sale, $230 in cash, drug packaging material and a digital scale
This investigation was a joint effort between the Connecticut State Police and the Putnam Police Department. The following charges were listed in the Putnam Police Department logs. The people charged are innocent until proven guilty in court. The Town Crier will publish dispositions of cases at the request of the accused. The dispositions must be accompanied by the proper documentation. Jan. 29
Christopher Sweeney, 29, S. Main Street, Putnam; operating under the influence, failure to drive right.
Feb. 1
Lori Bergeron, 50, Smith Street, Putnam; operating without a license.
Feb. 2
Christopher Pacheco, 28, Marshall Street, Putnam; operating under the influence, failure to maintain proper insurance.
