Amazing Giving
The annual Woodstock Giving Tree to benefit seniors and families in need was successful this year. First Selectman, Allan D. Walker Jr., said, “We have had a very busy week at the Woodstock Town Hall preparing and delivering holiday gift bags for Woodstock Seniors in need.” He said the amazing generosity of Woodstock residents and local businesses has made it possible for 53 seniors to receive two holiday gift bags filled with personal care items, household supplies, warm winter wear, gift cards, postage stamps, snacks, and much more. He said, “Due to the kindheartedness of our local citizens, we were also able to donate an incredible amount of food and personal care items to the public schools to use in their holiday food and gift baskets for local families. The kindness and generosity of the people of Woodstock is unmatched!” Courtesy photo.
