On dean's list
YORK, Penn. --- Shelbi Lamothe of Woodstock, a senior Nursing major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2012 semester.
Tessa Rose Allard of Danielson and John Bernard Kline of Woodstock have announced their engagement. An Aug. 10, 2013, wedding is planned.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Terry and Jon Wilson of Danielson and Richard Allard Jr. of Pomfret. Her grandparents are Emily and Richard Allard of Putnam and the late Henry and Mary Jane Guertin, formerly of Putnam.
Ms. Allard is a 2009 graduate of Killingly High School and Rittner’s School of Floral Design in Boston. She is employed by United Natural Foods as a customer service representative.
Mr. Kline is the son of Greg and Suzanne Kline of Woodstock. A 2009 graduate of Ellis Technical High School, he will graduate from Manchester Community College this spring with an associate’s degree in general studies. He is a Certified Personal Trainer, holds a state Dept. of Education coaching permit, and has coached middle school baseball.
He is the grandson of Pauline LaFramboise of Thompson and the late Francis B. LaFramboise, and Edith Kline of Hyde Park, N.Y., and the late Bernard C. Kline.

Boxcar opening
PUTNAM — The Gertrude Chandler Warner Boxcar Children Museum will open for the 2013 season May 4. Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
