In October the Quest Martial arts competition team attended the Valentin Karate Fall Classics in Meriden. PUTNAM — Cheryl L. (Burke) Doucette died Dec. 31, 2021. Cheryl was born Aug. 1, 1957, in Putnam.
Cheryl was an animal lover. She volunteered at the local cat shelter and has rescued many cats and dogs over the years, including her love, Summer Lee. She leaves her husband Joseph Doucette, her daughter Maegan Congdon (Raymond); her grandson, Justin Spaulding; her mother Mabel Burke; her brother Daniel Burke; cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.

American Legion Post 67 in N. Grosvenordale donated money and food gift cards to St. Mary Food Pantry as part of its holiday giving.
