free food pickup
PUTNAM — The Putnam Public School Food Service Department schedule for free drive-thru meal pickup from 2:20 to 2:50 p.m. at the Putnam Middle School parking lot includes:
Friday April 30
Friday May 7
Friday May 14
Friday May 21
Friday May 28
Meals will be distributed once a week. You will receive meals for the entire week, seven breakfasts and seven lunches per child.
This is offered FREE to any child 18 yrs. and younger. Child does not need to be present. No ID required. Masks required in drive-thru line.
Meals will be distributed in a drive thru method; you will not be entering into the school building.

Nilan Jog set
WOODSTOCK — The Judy Nilan Foundation will hold its 15th annual Jog with Judy 5K race Oct. 23 in Woodstock.
The race raises funds in memory of Judy Nilan and the funds are used to sponsor grants focused on improving the social, emotional, and behavioral abilities of children to learn effectively.

Monday: Cheeseburgers, cucumber cups, fruit. Tuesday: French toast sticks, breakfast sausages, hash browns, fruit. Wednesday: Popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots, fruit. Thursday: Taos, refried beans, fruit. Friday: Pizza, broccoli, fruit.
Putnam Elementary/Middle
Monday: Mozzarella sticks, marinara sauce, carrots, fruit. Tuesday: Spaghetti, meatballs, green beans, fruit. Wednesday: Orange popcorn or plain chicken rice bowls, fruit. Thursday: Fiesta Taco Bowls, Mexicali corn, fruit. Friday: Pizza, salad, fruit.
Putnam High
Monday: rodeo BBQ rib sandwiches or spicy chicken sandwiches. Tuesday: Chinese Take Out or bacon cheeseburgers. Wednesday: Breaded chicken sandwiches or Italian Panini. Thursday: chicken potato bowls or turkey Cobb salad. Friday: Pizza or homemade calzone.
Pomfret Community
Always served: fresh fruit and veggies and alternate of Sunbutter and jelly.
Monday: Chicken tenders and waffles. Tuesday: Beef and cheese nachos with salsa. Wednesday: Meatball and cheese grinders. Thursday: French toast with sausage. Friday - Lunch Hero Day: Cheese pizza.

The Electors and Citizens qualified to vote in the Putnam Special Services District, Town of Putnam, Connecticut, are hereby notified and warned that the Annual District Meeting of said District will be held at the Putnam Middle School Auditorium, 35 Wicker Street, Putnam, CT, on the Fourth Day of May 2021 at 7:30 P.M. for the following purposes:
1. To choose a Moderator.
2. To Consider and Act upon the recommendations of the District Authority Board that Appropriations be made for the Fiscal Year Budget in the total amount of $4,416,608 for the period beginning July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2022, and to make such Appropriations as are advisable.
3. To do any other business proper to come before such Meeting.
