For Earth Day
PUTNAM — The Greater Putnam Interfaith Council has cancelled its annual Earth Day activities due to COVID-19 concern. But they would like to encourage residents to participate in projects that support the protection and betterment of our environment for all people. One such project is Putnam Beautification Day, the annual town cleanup, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. April 24 (rain date May 1) starting at the Rotary Park bandstand.
