Boot Drive
WOODSTOCK --- The Woodstock Democratic Town committee is holding a Holiday winter boot Drive from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Station on Rt. 169. Boots will go to families in Woodstock and neighboring towns through TEEG. Bring new, unwrapped winter boots in children’s sizes (boys or girls). Cash accepted: make check made payable to TEEG and bring it to the drive or mail it to: Woodstock Democratic Town Committee, ATTN: Winter Boot Drive, PO Box 813, Woodstock, CT 06281. Putnam Interact raises $3,000
in first week of Kettle Campaign
The Putnam Salvation Army Kettle Campaign is off to a great start with over $3,000 raised Nov. 27 and 28.
And the collection continues … Look for the Red Kettles Dec. 5, 12 and 19 at Putnam Supermarket, Price Chopper, Putnam Walmart and WINY Radio.
