Free meals
PUTNAM — The free meals for children 18 years old and younger has been extended to Dec. 31. Each child will receive seven breakfasts and seven lunches. No ID is required and the child does not need to be enrolled in Putnam schools. Distribution is 2:45 to 3:15 p.m. every Friday at the Putnam Middle School parking lot as a drive through. Putnam Elementary/Middle
Monday Blue and Tuesday White: Spaghetti with meatballs, broccoli, fruit. Wednesday Blue and Thursday White: Roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, fruit. Friday White: Pizza, salad, fruit.
Putnam High
Monday Blue and Tuesday White: Clipper Burgers or spicy chicken sandwiches. Wednesday Blue and Thursday White: Waffles, scrambled eggs or bacon cheeseburgers. Friday White: Pizza or calzone.
Woodstock
Monday and Thursday: Chicken tenders, black beans, fruit. Tuesday and Friday: Pizza, salad, fruit. Wednesday Pickups: Sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, chicken patties on buns, macaroni and cheese, pancakes/potato/sausage.
Pomfret Community
Fresh fruit and veggies every day. Monday: Pizza crunchers. Tuesday: French toast sticks. Wednesday: Turkey sandwiches. Thursday: Grilled cheese. Friday: Chicken patties.
