English Night
WILLIMANTIC — The English Department at Eastern Connecticut State University hosted English Night and recognized one local student: Sean Gilmartin ’18 of Eastford, who majors in English and Mathematics, was among those honored at the reception. Gilmartin received the Lifelong Learning award, which is given to a student who has shown a steady love of literature, writing and the pursuit of knowledge.

WILLIMANTIC — Three local students at Eastern Connecticut State University were inducted into Kappa Mu Epsilon, the national honor society for mathematics: Tracey Ferguson ’19 of Danielson, who majors in Mathematics; Sean Gilmartin ’18 of Eastford, who majors in English and Mathematics; James Rowley ’18 of Pomfret, who majors in Mathematics.

WILLIMANTIC — Two local students at Eastern Connecticut State University were inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the national honor society for the computing and information disciplines: William Ahern ’18 of Danielson, who majors in Computer Science; Mary Wishart ’19 of Pomfret Center, who majors in Computer Science and Mathematics.
