Donation
Day Kimball Healthcare’s (DKH) Pastoral Care department received a donation from members from bankHometown’s Putnam branch on June 6. Jason Howard (second from left), bankHometown assistant manager, Putnam Branch; and Vanessa Martel (third from left), bankHometown teller, Putnam Branch, presented a check to DKH VP of Human Resources Jeff Corrigan, DKH Chaplain Rev. Jonathan Scott, DKH Pastoral Care Coordinator Janet Johnson, and DKH Director of Development Kristen Willis, in support of pastoral care at Day Kimball Healthcare. The funds were collected as part of a bankHometown “dress down day,” organized by bank employees to wear casual clothing to work for a nominal fee, who then donated the funds collected to a local civic organization of their choice. $850 raised
PUTNAM — Putnam CDJR partnered with Woodstock Elementary School to raise $850 during the Chrysler Cars 4 Classrooms fund-raising initiative. Through Chrysler’s Cars for Classrooms fund-raiser, the Chrysler brand makes a $10 contribution, up to $2,000, toward the school on behalf of every test drive participant.
“The Putnam CDJR enjoyed raising funds for a great cause with families and the local community. We always look forward to giving back to the community and the Chrysler Cars 4 Classrooms initiative is a great way to do it,” said Jeff Strickland, Northeast Business Center Regional director. “On behalf of the Chrysler brand and the dealership, I would like to personally thank everyone who took the time to participate in this test drive to help us raise money for such a deserving group of students.”
