Help needed
DANIELSON — The Danielson Veterans Coffeehouse is starting up a new program to send personal care packages to service men and women who are deployed overseas.
We need to create a listing of names and contact info in order to accomplish this, and we need the public’s help identifying these veterans from our community.
Packages must be addressed to an individual and not sent just to a military unit, so it is important to get the address accurate.
If you know of someone deployed, please send the info to us, and we will try to accommodate. Certainly, if you would like to donate or contribute to this project, contact Garry at 860-928-2309, or
Monetary donations can be mailed to: Danielson Veterans Coffeehouse P.O. Box 3 Danielson, CT 06239, or see our Facebook page.

Campers
Members of Boy Scout Troop 21 of Putnam did well at their June 1 and 2 camp-out in East Putnam, along the Five Mile River. The young Scouts leaned how to cook, how to set up and take down tents and how to care for ropes. Scoutmaster Peter A. Lombardo of Putnam instructed and assisted members of the troop.
