Scholarships offered
WATERFORD --- Charter Oak Federal Credit Union will be awarding $90,000 in college scholarships this spring to students in New London and Windham counties.
The credit union will accept scholarship applications through March 15. Applications must be submitted electronically, and can be found at https://charteroak.org/content/scholarship-program. Applicants must be members of the credit union; non-members can visit any branch location or call 860.446.8085 or 800.962.3237 to become a member, and to become eligible for a $2,000 scholarship.
The scholarship program rewards students who are involved in their local communities through volunteer activities and who maintain a strong grade point average.
