PUTNAM — Borner, Smith, Aleman, Herzog & Davis LLC recently announced that Robert J. Baniszewski has been hired as a probate paralegal in the firm’s Putnam office.
“We are delighted to bring on such a skilled and experienced paralegal to our firm,” said Frank Herzog, Esq. Baniszewski brings a wealth of experience to the firm, having worked as a probate and tax paralegal at a number of distinguished Connecticut law firms in Hartford over the last 22 years. Baniszewski earned a bachelor’s degree from Gannon University in Erie, Penn.

Rande Chmura, recently retired tax assessor for the Town of Putnam, was just awarded a Lifetime Membership in the Connecticut Association of Assessing Officers (CAAO). She received the award at the CAAO’s annual spring meeting. This award is given to retired assessors who have been active in the CAAO for at least 15 years. She became tax assessor in May 1986 in Putnam. She started her career as an assessment aide in November 1980 in New Fairfield.
